Hayley Orrantia (born in the year 1996) is an American actor, singer, and music producer. Her most well-known role is Erica Goldberg from the TV comedy program "The Goldbergs". Her definition of herself is the best musician of all. Music is her first love, that she insists on; it's something she's dabbled at when she was nine years old. When she was 12 years old, music was serious enough for her to pursue a career in music. In 2013, she took up songwriting and recorded her debut album. Since then, she has not stopped since then. Orrantia was born in the USA but she is a native of the United States with Hispanic roots. She has Hispanic roots even though she only spoke English when a young girl and lived her life in America. She strives to preserve it by studying Spanish and creating songs in the language. One of her efforts was the creation of a Spanish song called 'Hasta Verte.' The summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the first episode of The X Factor. Orrantia received 4 "yeses" to the judges in the Seattle live audition stage after having been selected from her YouTube submission. She originally auditioned solo, however, during "Hollywood Week" she was paired along with three female vocalists into a trio for the remainder of the auditions. They were eliminated at the conclusion of the fifth performance.
