Hayley is an American performer and actress. People are familiar with her because of her role in the role of Erica Goldberg on the popular show on television The Goldbergs.' However, she considers herself primarily an artist. It is her primary passion. It is something she is experimenting with since she was nine years old. Her first training began in the field of music professionally when she was 12 years old. When she was 13, she started writing her own music. The first album she released as a cover wasn't released until 14 years after. It was the beginning of her career. Orrantia is of Hispanic heritage, yet was born in USA. Despite the fact that she only spoke English growing up and had never been to Mexico Orrantia is proud of her Hispanic background. To keep her heritage, she's learned Spanish and has written songs in that language. "Hasta Verte," which that she wrote in Spanish is a good example. The summer of 2011, Orrantia auditioned for the premiere season of The X Factor. The Orrantia's YouTube video was chosen and she received four "yeses" (or votes) by the judges at The Seattle audition. Originally auditioning as a soloist, she as well as three female singers were grouped with three other singers for the last auditions of "Hollywood Week". Live shows were staged in the 5th week.
